What is Family Place
New Westminster Family Place welcomes all families by supporting them with services and resources that empower them to thrive!
New Westminster Family Place was opened in 1989 after 3 years of planning and fundraising with the help of the Public Health Unit and the Interagency Committee. This service was seen as necessary to the community, providing support services to isolated families with young children. Since then, from multiple locations, New West Family Place has been a second home to families in our community.
Project Description
Their existing site was fine, however it was not a great representation of what this organization brings to the community, and it lacked a little personality.
Using their great brand colours & fonts, we built a fun and welcoming site with information that is easier to find. The events are front and centre on the homepage, and we built custom post for their programs and resources which makes them easier to find, and has the benefit of making it easier for the Family Place team to add and edit.
