What is the New West Cultural Crawl
The New West Cultural Crawl is an annual arts & culture festival spearheaded by Arts New West that celebrates and exhibits the vast creative talents across New Westminster. Artist studios and venues open their doors for two days to welcome thousands of visitors from across Metro Vancouver.
Project Description
While working on the Arts New West new website (coming soon), they asked us to redo the New West Cultural Crawl website; they existing website looking dated and the functionality was lacking.
We designed and developed a website that was relatively simple and took some of its design cues from the new Arts New West website, to reinforce the connection between the two. A fair amount of the time was spent developing the Discover page, which lets users find the artists participating in the Crawl either by neighbourhood or by name. Each artist now also has a dedicated page that provides a description, a gallery of their work along with contact info.
